Biography:
Melanie Wade Leslie has been exploring the properties of printmaking processes for many years. Trained in the fine art approaches to printmaking, her experience in the newspaper business added an understanding of printmaking's commercial efficiency. In addition, she has studied the psychological and physical aspects of horses, making comparisons between human needs and behavior with that of equus. The result is a unique combination of process and idea that makes Ms. Leslie's work universally appealing, spiritual, and at times, very powerful.
