| Richard
Moiel was born in Brooklyn, NY and Katherine Poeppel was
born in Ft. Atkinson, WI. Both pursued medical careers,
Mr. Moiel becoming a Neurological Surgeon after attending
Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, and
Katherine becoming an Operating Room Nurse after attending
Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX. Since 1995
they have been co-owners of Houston Studio Glass and focus
their intellectual pursuits on seminars, workshops and
classes pertaining to glass blowing. |
| Richard
and Katherine have been in several publications and media
features including Fox-26 "Real Life" from Houston,
"AmErikan Art Collector," and in the oldest
newspaper in Texas, "The Daily News" from Galveston,
Texas. |
