She combines the 17th century techniques of Rembrandt
with 21st century digital computer technology; and creates
hand pulled prints and mixed media pieces that challenge
you to see the world with her unique vision. She has participated
in solo and group exhibitions around the country. Her
works hang in museums, as well as in corporate and private
collections. |
Beginning
April 29 Moran will have works available at Bogan Gallery.
Drawn from texts of the Victorian Era, Moran uses internal
body parts in
repetitive patterns to form the backdrops to her collaged
1950ish imagery. Only on close inspection will visitors
recognize internal body parts such as lungs and hearts.
Some pieces are set in tropical colors that challenge
the brain to see the body, and not the lush tropical plant
life. Always
provocative, Moran will not disappoint with this series. |
